Installation

Installation entrypoint for humans and local coding agents.

webmcp-bridge is not released yet.

This page is intentionally reserved as the canonical installation entrypoint. Once the first implementation ships, a human should be able to point a local agent at the Markdown form of this page and ask it to complete every machine-local setup step automatically.

The final installation flow will cover:

installing the webmcp native binary without npm
registering the browser Native Messaging host
installing the browser extension through the Chrome Web Store
configuring CLI-capable agents directly
configuring MCP-capable clients when needed
verifying the setup
upgrading through webmcp upgrade
